Abbreviations
What do all these abbreviations mean?
- $/$ – dollar amount off a purchase of a certain size (ex: $5 off of $20)
- Blinkie – Coupon from a small machine attached to the shelf
- BOGO – Buy one, Get one (often followed by FREE or a percetange off the second item)
- Cat – Catalina, a coupon issued at the register, by a separate machine
- CRT – Coupon from CVS Extra Care machine
- DD – Dear Daughter
- ECB – Extra Care Bucks from CVS
- Hang tag – Coupons attached to the product, generaly small loop of string around the “neck” of the product
- IVC – Instant Value Coupon (ie: monthly Walgreens coupon book)
- MIR - Mail in Rebate
- MQ – Manufacturer coupon
- MM – Money Maker
- OOP – Out of Pocket or the amount paid in real money
- P&G – Proctor & Gamble
- Peelie – Sticker style coupons on the product
- RP – Red Plum
- RR – Register Rewards from Walgreens
- SS – Smart Source
- WQ – Walgreens coupon
- YMMV – Your Mileage (or Manager) May Vary
